iTunes 7 Constantly Crashing

Since downloading iTunes 7, it’s been crashing regularly — which is something I’m not used to experiencing under Mac OS X.

When the first release of iTunes 7.0 came out, there were a lot of complaints about stability, which apparently affected Windows users the most. It was stable for me, though. The latest version, 7.0.1 (7), has been quite irritating.

Since “upgrading” to iTunes 7.0.1, I’ve had nothing but constant crashes…I trash preferences, reboot and it runs once or twice before crashing again…When I get it up and running again, it initially acts as if I’m installing for the 1st time… When it’s ready to crash, I get an error message that a certain memory module can’t be accessed and down she goes…What a mess…I run Windows XP sp2…

iTunes 7.2 is out — give it a shot. I’ve had no problems since 7.0.2.
